The Bowshock: Alpha Flight Helmet NVG-Mounted 3D Printed Face Shield

A Careflight nurse found our local 3d printed PPE group (http://www.MakeItDayton.org) and expressed a need for a face shield that would fit on his flight helmet. After we helped get one working for his helmet (see that one here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4307004), we found out about another popular helmet style, the Alpha (with an NVG mount). That was the beginning of Project Bowshock. After a few iterations on the design, we've settled on this version. It needs to print laying down flat to maintain strength, but assembles quickly with three #8 x 1" screws and is very strong. The NVG-mount holds it in place after being snapped in with the top NVG-mount clips flipped up (see photos).
