The Brooklyn Bridge - Large

This is a realistic model of the famous Brooklyn Bridge. I have so many incredible memories: love, inspiration, and admiration for this bridge. There was no 3D-printable models anywhere, and nothing like this on thingverse, so I thought I had to attempt an epic model. This is for everyone that wants a little reminder of a landmark that may have inspired them. This was designed to fit in a Replicator 2 build platform. Be cautious, it's fully assembled dimensions are: 36"L x 6.5"H x 2.85"W. This takes some serious build time, and I have yet to make it. Instructions You will need to print the following quantities of each part uploaded: 2x 1_Pier.STL 4x 2_RoadWay_Standard.STL 2x 3_RoadWay_PinBase1.STL 2x 4_RoadWay_PinBase2.STL 4x 5_Left Center Stays.STL 4x 6_Right Center Stays.STL 4x 7_Right Stays.STL 4x 8_Left Stays.STL 2x 9_Pier Cap.STL 2x 10_The FLag.STL Start by assembling 2 identical roadways, It is made of 2x RoadWay_Standard's and 1x of the PinBase1 and 2. The pins that connect the roadways face to the left, so make sure to place them in the Pier's that way. It may help to glue all of these pieces together before continuing. The next step is attaching the stays. Left Center refers to the 4 stays that get attached on the left Pier (as denoted by the direction the pins faced while making the roadways) in the center section between the 2 piers. Right Center refers to the right section between the 2 piers. Right stays go on the right side of the right pier, and same with the left stays. I have never built this, but the way it was designed is to have a press (friction) fit on top of the pier's and individually push in the stay loops on to the pins on the roadway. Glue may be required. Once all the stays are on, The Pier Caps can be placed on top to cover the top stay anchor points. Throw the flags on top (would love to see some painted American Flag up there) and you'll be good to display!
