**NEWS** I update the version of the transfer case (v1.4). This fixes the fact that the gear bearings were fitting too tight not allowing the case to fully seal. It also fixes the gear mesh, which previously was too tight, now the gears will spin smoothly. Highly recommend using this version instead.   "The Cabra" is a Sportsman/Sporty/Shafty RC Crawler chassis and transmission setup that I built for fun. I've included all STLs to print the chassis, cross members, frame rails, and tranmission+skid plate. If you want to go top-notch, cut the frame rails on carbon fiber or G10. The body mounts and frame rails I recommend printing in Nylon or Nylon Carbon Fiber (in PETG they will work, but could break in a big fall). I also included a Flexible Body Mount, which can be printed in TPU, and then insert a 5mm diameter aluminum m3 (typically found for drones in eBay/Amazon) which gives a pretty nice combo. The transmission uses standard 3-gear transmission found in SCX10. The advantage of this transmission is that sits lower and the gears are located to have the motor as close as possible to the shaft, resulting in a very narrow transmission and a front motor mount that sits as low and as centered as possible (geometry is not the same as Axial's tranny, but use the same gearing). You will need an offset pumpkin axle on the front to clear the motor (front mount) like AR60 or custom-built AR44. You can print all these parts on your 3D Printer with PETG or ABS and will work just fine. You'll need several m3 button head screws (lengths from 6mm to 30mm). You may also want some flat head m3 screws but are not required. For link setup, you can use Traxxas Jato (cheap metal links). Due to the front setup, you'll need more or less these lengths:Front bottom links: 100~110mmFront upper links: ~125mmRear bottom links: ~145mmRear upper links: 140~150mm These lengths will depend on your setup and upper link mount position and axle format and truss. The setup above is what I used for AR60 in the front and AR44 in the rear.
