The case for fingernail clipper
pinshape
Inspired by Chris Hadfield's ISS adventure, where he bravely trimmed his fingernails in space, I crafted a custom case for fingernail clippers that prevents stray nail particles from floating away and getting stuck in air ducts instead. Now, astronauts can clip their nails anywhere they please - even in the bathroom or sleep pod. My design is both easy to print and assemble, with no support required in the first version. I've created two versions of the case: the initial solution, which requires a rubber band for assembly, and the second iteration, which eliminates the need for additional accessories altogether. For this latter model, I recommend printing it using dual extruders with specialized filament that dissolves in water, providing an added layer of convenience.
