<p>this design is remixed from <a href="https://www.thingiverse.com/AxumKevar">AxumKevar</a> </p><p><a href="https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4626835">https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4626835</a></p><p>for more stability and better fittings.</p><p> </p><p>This is the Cheapest K40 Expansion Ever</p><p>Video: https://streamable.com/ppe5io</p><p>got my machine with a broken tube so instead of storing the machine till the other tube arrives i simply started to cut the main frame and the gantry to make it bigger.</p><p>all i did was to cut the gantry mount in half and weld it on the other side and cut the gantry from the middle and that was it.</p><p>all you will need are 3 printed parts and some smooth rods with 4 lm8uu bearings and 2 openbuilds vslot wheel bearings.</p><p> </p><p>All Bearings are press fitted</p><p>Printed with PETG with 30% infill</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p>
