UPDATE: Added models with a thicker clamp (on the back) so it should be less likely to break. The Clip-On Lens Cap Keeper can hold ANY SIZE OF LENS CAP! Simply slide your camera strap into the alligator teeth of the 3d printed clip, snap it closed and you're good to go! Pinch to open the clamp and insert any size lens cap! There are multiple versions available: Medium: This version will work for most camera and camera bag straps. Tight: In case you have a very thin camera strap. Large: In case you have a thick camera or camera bag strap. CLOSED: Means that the pincher at the end (that holds the lens caps) is much closer together, these can be used to hold microfiber cloths and other things that are not as thick as a lens cap. NOTE: These "CLOSED" versions may not work for lens caps depending on what type of plastic you print with and how flexible it is! If printing in PLA, go with the regular version, not the "CLOSED" version. Thicker Clamp: These versions just have a thicker clamp in the back so they're less likely to break - but this also means that it's more difficult to clamp (due to it being less flexible). Depends on printer and print settings. You'll have to see what works best for you. I printed mine in Hatchbox PLA but you may also consider ABS or a stronger/more flexible PLA. Has been tested with lens cap sizes: 20.6mm-145mm and all seem to fit well so far. PS. Filament brand: Hatchbox PLA. Extruder temperature: 190 C. Build Plate Temperature: 60 C. Nozzle diameter: 0.4mm. Infill: 5%. Infill Type: Rectangular. Outline/Perimeter Layers: 3 - important to make the alligator clip latch stronger. Top and bottom solid layers: 3. Layer height: 150 microns (or 0.15mm) . Rafts: No (I just used a little hairspray on my Kapton tape to get it to stick without rafts). Supports: No. Slicer used: Simplify3D. ^ These are just the settings that I personally used to get good results but results may vary depending on your plastic. You may have to play around with infill percentage to get the right amount of flexibility and strength.
