After converting to the vertical setup from the standard MendelMax 1.5 I still had the need to have a spool holder. Although it did not happen!! Every time I was in front of the printer I expected a face full of reel due to a sudden rapid movement of the X-carriage. This was used until I could design and print a proper replacement.
