A common problem that occurs on a regular basis for those who take food home from restaurants is the design of the take out box that the food is stored in. Often times, the food and its juices get mixed with other food. Another, even bigger problem is food being reheated in a microwave and getting dried out while other parts of the meal still are not warm. This newly designed take out box fixes all of these problems.In this new design, the takeout box has a convenient spot where different sized inserts can be placed inside of the take out box to best serve your specific meal. There is a large insert, small insert, and a shallow insert. The large insert can be used for your main dish due to the large amount of space provided. The small insert can be used for your sides, such as vegetables, fries, breads, and many more. The shallow insert can be used for dipping sauces and dressings. Each insert will provide separation of your foods. This provides a great opportunity for you, the user, to pick and choose what foods you want to reheat in a microwave and for how long. This prevents overheating of foods for a better experience of eating a take out meal.Some other design features are included to provide the maximum enjoyment of your meal. First is a locking mechanism on either side of the take out box to prevent the container from opening up while in use. Another convenient feature are the punchable vents on the top of the container to allow steam to escape if desired. These vents can be used or not, depending on what food you would like to reheat in them. A third feature that this take out box has is the ability to hold water in the bottom while the inserts are being used to prevent any foods from drying out while in the microwave. When you are reheating a food in the microwave that tends to dry out, you can simply add water to the main body to add more moisture to the reheating process. The final feature of this take out box is to be a stand alone take out box. If the inserts are not needed, than simply place the food in the main body of the take out box. It wastes less plastic and still gets the job done.This model can be printed using ABS plastic, which is used by many printers. If a certain insert is in higher demand, it can be printed more than others, reducing the amount of plastic used.
