The Double Take Tripod Mount

<p>Sometimes you just need two, two people, two hands, two tripods? Or maybe one tripod is enough?</p><p>I was at a family reunion almost a decade ago. I had one tripod and I kept having to switch between camera and video. I got the idea, wouldn't it be great if I could mount both to a single tripod. That was when I began devising the Double Take. I went through a few prototypes before I settled on the design you see here. And that's kind of where things died. I thought about trying to sell these but I simply lack the passion for sales. I am a maker, I like making things not generating sales.</p><p>But now I bring this device to the community. I hope you like it. You can mount any accesory to it that uses a ¼-20 nut… in the photo you will notice i have mounted a video camera and a remote microphone receiver.</p><p>The device folds up to fit in a camera bag easily.
