The Egg - 3D Printed Speaker

thingiverse

This is a speaker created in collaboration with HiFiBerry, Beocreate during the course 41030 Design of Mechatronics at The Technical University of Denmark DTU. The speaker was entirely 3D-printed on a Zortrax M200 printer using Ivory Zortrax Z-Ultrat filament. As the files might indicate, the speaker is comprised of five parts to complete the shell, as well as two conical reflectors to spread the sound. A full assembly guide, as well as a walkthrough of the entire design process, can be found using following link:https://artuinoblog.wordpress.com/2017/04/05/guidance-to-replicating-the-design/ (And yes, the rye bread is intentional) Print Settings Printer Brand: Zortrax Printer: Zortrax M200 Supports: Yes Resolution: 0.140 mm Infill: High to medium
