I remade the buckle and uploaded it as a separate file if you dont want to use this version The Factorio belt belt use a 1mm mirror wire/picture wire to thread the pieces together start by folding the wire you need in half so for 36 inches use ~75 inches slide the buckle on first. I used a small clamp to hold it down while I threaded them on. to finish twist wires several times and use the endcap piece filled with a strong glue to hide the wire twists. I recomend using PETG but any plastic should be strong enough for general use since the force is applied perpendicularly to the layers. if you use PLA id print the buckle a little hotter than usual to get a very good layer adhesion use the blender file to easily change the amount of segments in bulk. There are 2 arrays to change how many segments in rows and columns
