IMPORTANT: Please look at the pictures for details. Cura 4.8 users, check if the stl slices correctly (one of the pictures shows what you should be looking for). All the mechanical bits are already assembled. You print it, free up the steering and wheels, mount the electronics, run it, break it, and start over. =) -Nozzle: 0.4mm -Layer: 0.2mm is recommended. I designed it to print at that layer height. I have received reports that it will print at 0.16mm. -Supports: off -Brim: not necessary, but if you're having bad bed adhesion, go for it. -Material: PETG is preferred. PLA will work but is more fragile. Never tried with ABS, but had a report from someone that it does not like being printed in ABS This car has successfully printed on Ender 3 Pro, Folgertech Reprap 2020, Tronxy X1 (frame rigidity improved), Makerbot 2x, and Ender 5 Plus. All machines were stock. If you wanto to scale it up, you might get away with 0.3mm. At 200% scale, 0.3mm works fine. This is designed to work with a 130 size motor and an 8 tooth 0.5 module gear, so if you scale it up, you'll have to figure out what motor and pinion will work with it. Good luck...you're going to need it! ---ELECTRONICS--- These are the electronics that i used in the video and some alternative options. -Flysky GT3B Transmitter and Receiver OR -Fkysky GT3C Transmitter and Receiver -20A brushed ESC or 30A brushed ESC -3.7g servo -WLToys F949 500mah 1s lipo battery or similar You might need to change the plug depending depending on the ESC you bought. Typically they use a JST plug. I had to change it on mine. -a charger compatible with your battery -130 size motor There are many cheap ones available. You can do a quick search on amazon/ebay/etc. to find the one that you like. I like Tamiya motors. They are reliable. I recommend one called Torque Tuned. You can find it by searching "TAMIYA 15484" If you search for "TAM75028" instead, you will get one that's a little slower, but comes with the pinion that you will need for this build. ---TIRES--- Kyosho Mini Z tires OR Tamiya Mini 4wd Small Diamater tires. You can find Tamiya tires in both rubber and a very grippy foam called "Reston". I personally like the foam ones a lot. You can find them by searching "Tamiya 15388" You could also 3d print some with tpe or tpu, but they don't work as well.
