This is the Birthplace of the AI Uraei aka Control, after the Events of DS9. Uraei/Control masked all sensor data so that the station could not be found through other Ships. Uraei/Control took over project artemis in 2083. This included the impulse ships of the project. Uraei/Control agents improved the weapons technology of these ships so that Control remotely controls these ships for defense.
