The Hold Western town split for printing

WARNING: This was originally just my attempt to split the original file up for personal printing. A lot of the work is therefore simplified & crude, but after having spent so much effort on it, I decided to share the result. It's very much a work in progress, and some of the models still have errors & missing bits! I didn't intend to make the interiors useable, I just hollowed the buildings out to reduce the time & filament needed to print (but I did leave floors on most of them, just in case...) Nonetheless, https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2042312 is an excellent one-stop resource for Western themed wargaming buildings, but needs a lot of manipulation to actually print. Initially I just intended to split up the buildings to print, but a lot of them needed repairs after that. That proved to be pretty damn difficult for some of them, and a few still have errors. I then decided to enhance the relief of the sign text to make it easier to paint them. This actually makes them less realistic, as the originals were painted, and the lettering didn't stick out at all, but my freehand painting isn't up to that, so a bit of help was needed. I was more successful with some than others. To minimise the amount of support structure I needed, I split buildings up to sit multiple parts on the build plate instead. I intend to replace the various balcony support posts with toothpicks or wooden skewers, so I didn't bother with them. The railway line & covered wagon weren't salvageable, and I decided to build a new water tower (although it still has errors, and, yes, I made a mistake on the upper level, but I'd merged the ladder into the structure before I realised and can't be bothered redoing it all. I also include the original. I left the weird balcony level on the brothel, since my figures won't fit in there anyway. One side of the stable roof fits on top of the other at the ridgeline, while the train station roof is flipped on one side (and the station itself still has errors). I had to split the bank off from the saloon as I want to print it all in 15mm/1:100 scale, and the combined building won't fit on my Ender 3 Pro. I have printed a few more buildings from the set than I'm initially posting, but they were test shots which either I've modified since, or I didn't like the look of (I used the bright yellow Overture PLA Professional, which, while it cools very hard & tough, is a pig to remove support from and doesn't retain detail as well as the grey Overture PLA). Figures in the shots are from 3D Breed, and all printed in 15mm scale (or thereabouts) on my ender 3 Pro with direct drive mod. 30/05/23 - Uploaded new version of Hotel & repaired Stable & Tonsorial Palace 02/06/23 - a few more pics. I can't get the Post Office or Land Office files fully repaired, but when I do I'll upload everything to the new version. Don't hold your breath though... 19/06/23 - uploaded improved brothel & some extra pics (some buildings in pics not from this thing)
