This one's pretty slippery... Dubbed "The Icicle" for its cone-like shape, this hold offers a difficult challenge for both dynamic swings and static grabs. When applied with chalk, the hold can become more grippy; however, the downwards-sloping surface always remains. A hold like this is best used for hanging practice--one's strength can slowly be grown over a period of time, and the obstacle can be used in different manners accordingly. For example: for an experienced ninja, the hold can be placed at the very end of a course, either at swinging and jumping or reaching distance from a trapeze bar. This hold can be assembled with a 3/8" eye bolt (approximately 5 inches long), as well as a 3/8" x 1.00" washer and 3/8" hex nut. The bolt can be screwed in from the top, and then the washer can be placed in the circular slot in the bottom, followed by the hex nut (this will need to be tightened with a nut driver/wrench to ensure a tight overall fit). With this said... good luck, and stay warm.
