This is the chest and face of the Ideal Scout by R. Tait McKenzie. This particular sculpture stands in front of the local Boy Scouts headquarters. It is one of many copies from the original life-sized sculpture which formerly stood at the past Boy Scouts of America headquarters in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. For more information on it, please see this link to Wikipedia: https://goo.gl/p8fI9D How I Designed This I took over 200+ photos of the local Ideal Scout sculpture on a recent blustery, cold day. I got in a hurry and it resulted in poor coverage of the overall sculpture (plus numb fingers). When I got home I loaded the DNG files into Adobe Lightroom. I then tweaked them to my satisfaction and exported them as 8-bit TIFFs. I then imported the TIFFs into Agisoft Photoscan and used the high setting at each step. When I realized that nearly the entire rear of the sculpture was missing along with much of the feet and legs, I decided to focus on just the chest and face today. After finishing the model in Photoscan, I opened it up in Memento to clean it and decimate the mesh. I double-checked my work and finally uploaded it here.
