The Infinite Clip, 3D printed Paperclip

thingiverse

The Infinite Clip is our attempt to build a better paperclip using 3D printing. This is the first version and we'd love to have your feedback on how to improve it. The clip works as a hook and can be mounted & clip things in four different orientations. It can clip things in various ways and be used for thick and thin things. Here is our blog post about this thing: http://i.materialise.com/blog/entry/using-3d-printing-to-build-a-better-paperclip-the-infinite-clip Instructions We've tested it on a Stratasys FDM machine and an EOS SLS machine in ABS and polyamide respectively. We tried to make it as flat as possible but it probably won't work on a Makerbot because of support (we didn't try it on ours) but please tell us if it does!
