Tada ... The infinity machine (Unendlichkeitsmaschine) Dimensions are about 350 x 200 mm mounted on an 18 mm oak board using M3-machine-screws. All parts, except the shafts and the wooden board, are 3D-printed. I decided to use a stepper motor, because it was easier to controll the speed. With a motor speed of about 65* rpm the last shaft or gear (upper right corner) will turn once in 2019 years ;-) (ironicaly I build a machine which "result" I will never see). The last gear was cast in concrete (the mould was 3D-printed too). If you want to build one, see the attached drilling templates, so no measuring is necessary. Attached you will an pdf-file with some instructions. The Arduino sketch is also included. If I have forgotten something or you have any questions feel free to contact me. Working machine: https://youtu.be/M-dBvdqUOqY Update 2019-01-13 - redesigned the spur gears - redesigned the L-bracket near the stepper motor - added distance tools for putting the shafts into the gears and worm - updated the pdf-manual Thanks to Leo Have fun! ;-) *65.6566216 rpm
