I love this model. The original designer, bendansie, did an incredible job on it, so I really wanted to do something with it for the Remix Challenge. Here is the link to the original design. http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:897412. The STL should already be properly positioned to print. I have arranged it flat on the threaded part because that was the orientation that required the least amount of and most easily removed supports. Please keep in mind that the only file I have personally tested was the high resolution one. I can't vouch for the medium/low files, so those may or may not be functional. I will include the Meshmixer files in case anyone wants to change something. Print Settings Printer: TEVO Tarantula Rafts: No Supports: Yes Resolution: 0.3mm Infill: 10% Notes: Speed: 50mm/s Top/Bottom Layers: 5 Perimeters: 4 Post-Printing It had to have a ton of supports, but they all pretty much broke away easily. I didn't manage to be able to get the supports out of the tube inside of her, but it doesn't even really seem to affect the water flow much, if at all. How I Designed This I thought it would be cool to turn it into a shower head, so I sliced it up in Meshmixer, grabbed a STEP file of a threaded cap for a shower arm from McMaster-Carr so that the threads and diameter would be correct. Then. I just put a tube through the middle of her body and pressed the threaded part into it. To get a wall for the holes into her mouth, I just added a cube, resized it to fit inside of her mouth, with a thickness of 5mm, and moved it inside of her face. To make the holes, I just added a pattern to that wall I just made that was a hexagonal grid of 2mm holes with a spacing of 1.5 I think. That's pretty much it. I'm mostly happy with how it turned out, although, it admittedly doesn't make the greatest shower head I've ever used, but I think it looks awesome and I'm blown away that it actually worked.
