The Lighthouse of Alexandria

The Lighthouse of Alexandria

cults3d

The Lighthouse of Alexandria, or the Pharos of Alexandria was a 330 ft (100 m) tall lighthouse that stood on Pharos Island in the city of Alexandria, specifically the one in Egypt (yes, there were multiple Alexandria's). It was destroyed by a series of earthquakes, and today is replaced with the Qaitbay Citadel. This model has been simplified, like all my others, and may have some inaccuracies. I acknowledge this, and I only kept these inaccuracies so that a 3d printer can handle the overhangs. I have also tested this model, so that I don't have to take it down 3 different times like a certain, ahem, tram, that I posted previously. Speaking of which, that tram is safe to print now. Moving on, the very top of the lighthouse has to be glued onto the pillars as shown in the image. The two parts are in the same file and will be printed simultaneously. If there are any things really bugging you about this design, please, tell me in the comments. I will be delighted to fix any mistakes
