The Mandalorian Neo Crusaders were the most organized Mandalorian forces during the reign of Mandalore the Highest. Their symbol has a classic hoop with thorns of the early Crusaders, however there is a new element in the form of a skull, which was probably added by Cassus Fett. The main goal of Mandalore the Highest was the admission of galactic races, other than the taungs, which are the founders of the nation, into the ranks of Mandalorians. Together with his Field Marshal Cassus Fett, Mandalore the Highest allowed Mandalore culture to survive the millennium. Named after the original Mandalorian Crusaders, they fought in the Mandalorian Wars and were later regrouped and reformed under the command of the Mandalore Guardian. At the moment, the symbol of the Neo Crusaders is the first known use of the skull in Mandalore iconography. What is the meaning of the skull? It looks pretty much like the shape of the T-visors of the helmets of the Neo Crusaders, and perhaps it was a symbol of the Taung skull (the true race of the Mandalorians), or the prototype of the skull of a mythosaurus. However, this is just a guess.
