The Master Sword from The Legend of Zelda BotW

<p>Created as a small version of The Master Sword from The Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild. Modeled in Fusion 360 after the artwork version found at <a href="https://zelda.gamepedia.com/Master_Sword">Gamepedias Zelda Wiki</a>.</p><p>When printed, the sword is about 75 cm (~30 inches) long.</p><p>The model is cut into pieces to fit my FlashForge Adventurer 3 and its 150x150x150 print area. That means the blade is cut into four, and the handle is cut into three parts to remove as much need for supports as possible.</p><p>There are two versions of the handle shaft – with and without the wrap. I was going to paint the wrap green, but decided against it in the end. So I should have gone with the version without the wrap.</p><p>Quite a lot of sanding was done to finish this one, but I could have done even more. Especially where the blade parts are joined, and on the ends of the handle guard piece. Primed with a plastic primer, painted with basic spray paint and finished with a glossy spray. All of the cheapest kind.</p><p>The diamond parts might be a better fit if printed a per cent or two smaller, as it's a <i>really</i> tight fit.</p><p>Printed in basic PLA (instore brand of ClasOhlson) on a FlashForge Adventurer 3. Used rafts for the blade parts (to sleep better at night, don't know if it's really necessary). And I used supports and a skirt for the handle guard.</p>
