De Melkboer (eng. The Milk Farmer) is a marble sculpture by Marc de Vos. De Vos was an important sculptor from Brussels in the 17th Century. He was one of the lead artists and architects in Brussels and worked alongside Pierre van Dievoet, Jean Cosyn, Antoine Pastorana, Jean van Delen and Corneille van Nerven. One of his most notable creations was his work on the Grand-Place of Brussels and the Maison du Renard. Aside from buildings, de Vos would also make furniture for churches and sculptures such as this, The Milk Farmer, which is on public display by the Grand Market.    This object is part of "Scan The World". Scan the World is a non-profit initiative introduced by MyMiniFactory, through which we are creating a digital archive of fully 3D printable sculptures, artworks and landmarks from across the globe for the public to access for free.
