The Miner (Warrior-Liberator)

For a long time, I was fascinated by the Soviet War Memorial dedicated to the victory over fascism in Treptower Park, Berlin. My initial intention was to make a digital copy of the monument of the Warrior-Liberator, which is a focus of the ensemble. A bronze statue of the Soviet warrior holds a sword in one hand, a rescued German child in another one and stands over a broken swastika. Shame on me, this project is still in development. However, I was able to finish own little project inspired by the famous monument. It goes in two variations: a) a full-scale 165mm figurine – a warrior with a sword that stands over a killed snake on the rock, b) a 72mm figurine of a warrior with a sword (no snake and large rock).
