<h1>The MRRF Plane!</h1> My 5 year old an I went down to the Midwest RepRap Festival in Goshen, IN. He wanted a toy to bring with. I suggested that we print a toy that he makes. He used Tinkercad, with my assistance, to create this wonderful plane. I had to help with sizing and alignment of the parts and also made some tweaks to make it printer-friendly. But you're looking into the mind of a 5 year old. I had to talk him out of the emergency exit door though. You'll see in the picture that we added his name to the wings. I uploaded just the blank set of wings here instead. There are two versions of the body and wheels. One set is made so the wheels stick into the body of the plane to help with alignment. The other set is made for the wheels to go outside the body. Our initial attempt at the wheels and body had the axle way too small and it broke trying to put it in. Not having the time to print another body, I beefed up the axle and made it contoured to the body. I glued them just outside the holes to help with alignment. But for this model, I included the beefed up axle with both options.
