For Julian, the director of [The Verse](https://youtube.com/watch?v=B24h1SYIxEc) Thanks for keeping Firefly alive! The Overland was his team's creation for their short film. This 6 inch model was printed with my 0.25 nozzle at a layer height of 0.1mm (17.5 hours). There are a lot of fine details. Thanks to Joe (JediKep) for the suggestion to make the engines rotate like in the movie. It's a nice effect. I chose to split the model to create the cleanest print with the smallest amount of supports required. Depending on your printers tolerances, you may need to scrape the holes out with an x-acto blade to make the pegs fit tight. Mine fit so tight, there is no glue required to join. I'm quite happy with this Filament too! WOW! I first bought "ColorFabb - Brass Fill" - but it has so much real brass, that it's fragile and crumbly. This "Gizmo Dorks - Metal Filament Bronze" looks *AMAZING* in bright lights! And it's not nearly as fragile. I've been on the hunt for good metal looking filaments and this one satisfies my golden needs. Next I'm printing one in Ultimaker Silver. It promises to be a very good quality silver. I'll post an update when it's complete. *Update: Picture made with "Ultimaker Silver" uploaded. Not quite as dramatic as the GD Bronze. Soon I'll be shrinking this down to a 2 inch model to go along with my [Firefly Board Game Ships](http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2843661). It's going to require a lot of modifications, because many of the details are already as small as some printers can slice. ***UPDATE*** 2 inch model complete. Visit the board game ships link above. *Update: Uploaded a ball & Socket stand for the ships. Allows you to angle your display. Thanks to Esquilo for the use of his [Ball & Socket joint](https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1668946)
