The pico wave maker

The pico wave maker

thingiverse

A simple wave maker module for reef-pi. Circuit is exactly same as the [doser module](https://learn.adafruit.com/reef-pi-guide-5-dosing-controller), which employs a L293D ic for controlling upto two wave pumps. The prototype setup I am using is based on two ordinary 12V dc submersible pumps from Amazon (under 12$). PWM control is provides by reef-pi 3.0 (still alpha) arbitrary pwm profile capabilties. The unit is powered by 12V 3A power adapter, runs on a pi 3 model A, perma proto hat, and nylon standoffs (m2.5) for mounting. An lm2596 converts 12V to 5V for the Pi.
