The pipe clamp 2

This tool is used for clamping two pipes when you are trying to form a butt weld between them. The tool consists of several parts which can be welded together or can be made by casting. Later on, some machining is required for the threaded holes and for the winding cylinder. First you place the tool around the pipe that you want to weld. By turning the winding cylinder the “hands” are tighten around the pipe making the contact in three places. Than you add another pipe, as shown on the picture, and this pipe is being tighten and centered by the wing screws. Later on you can weld some small portions of the pipes. After that you remove the tool and finish welding.
