Several other ball & socket joint models on Thingiverse are not designed for PLA but this version is. Ball snaps tightly into itself. The friction fit allows each joint to hold it's position. Joints are also hollow to allow a cable through. Instructions Printed at standard quality with Makerware on a Makerbot Replicator 2. Infill - 0-10% Number of Shells - 2 Layer Height - .2 mm No raft or supports needed.
