The Pot of the Rings

<p>Here it is! The Pot of the Rings!!! (epic music playing)</p><p>Just print a base, one top part and a lot of rings to combine them and customize your pot as many times as you want, it can be used for pencils, tools, clips, plants…</p><figure class="image image-style-align-center image_resized" style="width:50%;"><img src="https://media.prusaprinters.org/media/prints/131402/rich_content/4ec950aa-250b-4e91-b787-412d4423d863/potr_analysis.png#%7B%22uuid%22%3A%2208a6e919-2d84-4a27-883f-fad47813e03f%22%2C%22w%22%3A900%2C%22h%22%3A900%7D"></figure><p>The base is available in several heights, I created prints from 30mm (3 rings) to 120mm (12 rings). Pick the one that better suits your purpose, I'm using one with 3 rings for the clips and one with 10 rings for the color pencils as you can see in the picture.</p><p>There is a standard base and a version with a hole in the base for drainage in case you want to use it as a planter (same heights).</p><p>The rings are 10mm high, they fit perfect on the base and spin freely once assembled because the base has 1 extra mm in height to allow it. For better spinning just pass the rings over a sandpaper a little bit to smooth the top and bottom surfaces.</p><p>Finally, screw in the top part, you can choose here from a simple big hole to a lid to use it as a box (that would be “The Box of the Rings!”), I added some top parts with dividers in case you prefer that option.</p><figure class="image image-style-align-center image_resized" style="width:50%;"><img src="https://media.prusaprinters.org/media/prints/131402/rich_content/acba051b-0f2d-4539-8c09-9b80f9c73965/potr_top_options.png#%7B%22uuid%22%3A%2277c3e494-dca6-455d-893e-d41f05e3982e%22%2C%22w%22%3A1026%2C%22h%22%3A802%7D"></figure><p>It is easy to print, no supports are needed, the layer height can be set to 0.3mm and infill to 0%.</p><p>I hope you like it, I'm look forward to seeing your designs.</p>
