I wasn't happy with any of the Shields that were already on here when I started this project so I decided to make my own. As-is I uploaded the version without any mounting hardware since I don't think the one I made is very good and I'm sure someone else can design a better one. It's designed to use a 40mm glass sphere as the main middle piece. I used this one because it was cheap, but because it ships from china it may take a while to get here. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00X5JS118/ There also exist clear ones that have amazon prime shipping, but IMO the green one looks more authentic. You could drill holes to incorporate LEDs but keep in mind that due to the way light bends inside a glass sphere, it doesn't illuminate very well and you can really only see it if directly on the other side of the LED. If you get a smaller ball, just scale it down to fit what you choose. It took a ton of filling and sanding in post, but if you're patient it will come out nicely. Also included is the Shield_with_Ball file which is if you want to make one without having to buy a glass sphere or make a smaller desk-sized one, but keep in mind it looks so much better with glass in the middle.
