I'm (finally) releasing the Roadrunner bike device. Jimmy liked his first device so much he wore it out, outgrew it, and asked for a new, bigger one. Version 1.0 is his first Roadrunner device. It prints in two parts and fits most print beds. Version 1.1 is larger, has a longer socket and prints in three parts. The socket and ring can print on a much smaller print bed (but the socket needs a taller envelope) and the print orientation makes the socket more durable, less prone to delamination. The socket and ring fit together like a puzzle and are to be glued with a 2-part resin epoxy. The peg curls around more, so it's easier to stand up on the bike without the ring coming off the peg. DO NOT PRINT IN PLA OR ABS!! I printed 1.0 in Bridge nylon, and 1.1 in PETG. You will need to use a similarly durable material and make sure your print head is hot enough and your fan speed low enough (or turned off) to ensure excellent layer adhesion. Support structures are built into the model, so you should print the components with no added support. Contact me if you need files without the support structures. As is, this device will fit some people. You will need to modify the socket and/or ring to fit most people with a transradial amputation or wrist disarticulation. Contact me if you need help with this.
