***And We're back!*** It's been a while but we're back with another awesome project, well-over 56 hours of design work, 20 hours of 3D printing, and a whole lot of fun later. Say hello to the S3D-F1-21, a brand new F1 design, using real life F1 designs and technology, Working Air Vents, an advanced aerodynamic profile, and low support material design. This design was inspired by the F1 in schools competition cars (f1inschools.com), and has a built-in safety cable hole to prevent the car from becoming an aeroplane (even though the aerodynamic profile of the car does not permit this). And uses a 12 gram CO2 cartridge (needs to be pierced with a nail or other sharp pointed object), producing 1.82 Newtons of force. After some long sums and maths equations, I calculated that the car will reach a theoretical top speed (excluding air resistance) of 8.8m/s (for comparison that's 1.64 m/s slower than Usain Bolt)! **** ***Assembly:*** 1) Print 1 of "S3D-F1-21.stl" (OR "S3D-F1-21 (SPLIT - FRONT).stl" + "S3D-F1-21 (SPLIT - BACK).stl") 2) Print 2 of "F1 Tires (BIG).stl" 3) Print 2 of "F1 Tires (SMALL).stl" Using 4 servo screws (M2 self-tapping screws in any length below 10mm), to secure the wheels to the car, with enough tension for the wheels to not fall off, but not so much that the wheels cannot spin. Attach the car on to a safety guide wire (**WE** ***STRONGLY*** **RECOMMEND YOU DO THIS, IT IS NOT REQUIRED, BUT WE TAKE NO RESPONSIBILITY FOR INJURIES AND DAMAGES OCCURING WITH/WITHOUT THE USE OF A SAFETY WIRE**), and insert a 12g CO2 cartridge into the rear of the car, pierce the cartridge and watch the car fly (although hopefully not literally). **** ***FINAL DISCLAIMER: WE DO NOT TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR ANY DAMAGES, INJURIES, OR OTHER LOSS DUE TO MISUSE OF THIS PROJECT. CO2 CARTRIDGES ARE INCREDIBLY POWERFUL, AND MUST NOT BE MISUSED. MAKE SURE THAT ALL USE OF THE CAR IS DONE IN A SAFE, AND RESPONSIBLE MANNER, ADHEERING TO ALL NECESSARY HEALTH AND SAFETY RECOMMENDATIONS***
