<p><strong>EDIT (04/11/2022)</strong>: Added an annex to detail how I attached the plumbob into the headband and the small cylinder .STL file.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>The original design, was intended to use 6 x 3 mm cilindrical neodymium magnets to keep the two parts together. Also, in order to attatch the finished part to the headband, a hole for a 1.6 mm diameter metal wire was made at the botton.</p><p>This being said, I will upload these two iterations of the same model: the original one with all the holes and one without the holes.</p><p>If you do not intent to attatch the Plumbob anywhere, you may only want to print the upper part of the design two times to make a complete one, as these two parts (the upper and lower parts) are simetrical except for the metal wire fitting hole attatchment in the botton part.</p><p><strong>Print Settings</strong></p><p>Printed in PLA, without supports or rafts, at 0.2mm resolution and 100% infill.</p><p>The two parts can be printed as they are, without any additional supports.</p><p><strong>Post-Printing</strong></p><p>To keep the two parts together, you can do the same as I did, and use magnets, making the two parts detachable when needed, or you can simply glue them.</p><p><strong>Assembly</strong></p><p>The assembly is pretty straightforward. In the following GIF we can see how it will be in the case that we use magnets:</p><figure class="image"><img src="https://media.printables.com/media/prints/181278/rich_content/b3f0c773-8bee-42af-8248-f9d3997e0bbf/ensamblaje-plumbob-recortado-sin-transparencia-al-final.gif#%7B%22uuid%22%3A%226f30dcce-8fe2-46b4-b4ed-dadae2f45e79%22%2C%22w%22%3A518%2C%22h%22%3A518%7D"></figure><h3>Annex</h3><p>To attach the plumbob you can basically use any headband. In my case, for better attachment, I also printed a small hollow cylinder (it's in the uploaded files) and drilled a small hole into the headband (as shown in the photos below). Also, I recommend you sand the portion of the headband that will be glued with the cylinder.</p><p>For general recommendations I will add the following ones:</p><ul><li>Don’t make the wire too long, the printed part is quite weighty and the whole assembly could become very top heavy.</li><li>For the headband, use one that has good grip and that is fairly wide. I think the ones that are wrapped in fabric (if that makes sense) would do a nice job.</li><li>In my case, I had to cut a bit of the sides in order to the plumbob to sit straight in my head.</li></ul><figure class="image"><img src="https://media.printables.com/media/prints/181278/rich_content/f814e441-396a-4480-9cbb-e7130e32cea1/e0e539dc-9e49-41f8-86be-118daa27d492.jpg#%7B%22uuid%22%3A%2221217c97-2bc0-463f-9693-282d9b6bef10%22%2C%22w%22%3A3024%2C%22h%22%3A4032%7D"></figure><figure class="image"><img src="https://media.printables.com/media/prints/181278/rich_content/a15240c6-ab9e-4c12-a8a1-4e4113b9cc45/a6e69b29-5512-47a0-bcb9-d46a2d04beba.jpg#%7B%22uuid%22%3A%22ba0d1c31-66ed-41e7-a191-044b79593294%22%2C%22w%22%3A3024%2C%22h%22%3A4032%7D"></figure><figure class="image"><img src="https://media.printables.com/media/prints/181278/rich_content/74d3fc06-9193-49f2-abcf-85248f9a7b2c/d8d6401a-3513-48c1-94d7-72ade70d74cd.jpg#%7B%22uuid%22%3A%22cc92e57b-d8e9-4a4a-9dcb-455bbc80003c%22%2C%22w%22%3A4032%2C%22h%22%3A3024%7D"></figure><figure class="image"><img src="https://media.printables.com/media/prints/181278/rich_content/84597432-8af5-44de-991b-cbba346c171a/d9091a89-3037-4550-a227-968caefa8085.jpg#%7B%22uuid%22%3A%22ecd9c2a5-c547-45a6-8d2b-43df8fe88616%22%2C%22w%22%3A3024%2C%22h%22%3A4032%7D"></figure>
