The Solar System coaster

<p>90mm (3.54" for US folk) of usable solar system as a coaster. According to my education, i have included Pluto because that's what I was taught in grade school.</p><p>For added flair, you can add a filament change under 2mm from the top to highlight the planets and also the outline of the sun.</p><p>I do not recommend printing larger than a .4mm nozzle as you would lose detail in Uranus. That would be highly unfortunate as a detailed Uranus is very desirable to keep Uranus looking smooth, complete, and whole.</p><p>I printed my coaster with a .4mm nozzle at .1mm layer height 15% infill and two perimeters. I also changed the top infill layer pattern to Archimedean Chords which resulted in a lovely circular accent. Make sure your filament is properly dried for these alternative patterns or you can struggle against the stringing.</p><p> </p><p>For those who want to add color through filament changes:</p><p>the sun's rays finish at 3.85mm</p><p>the planet negative space divisions finish at 4.25mm</p><p>the outlines of the planets (including saturn and Uranus' rings) finish at 6.25mm</p><p>keep in mind the top layer includes the Sun outline for drink stability, i can upload one without that if people want it.</p>
