the Stroken Lamp2
cults3d
Ceiling Lamp: This is a Lamp for the ceiling that uses a standard E14 Lamp Bulb. It is build up out of 32 “strips” that give it the shape of an classic Vase. These strips (or in dutch: stroken) create stripe like shadows on the ceiling and walls. At 100% size this Lamp is around 362 mm high with an diameter of 218mm. Assembly after all the parts are printed: Glue the parts “strook1” & “strook2” together. Do this 32 times. Then press them onto “ring1”. Then “ring2” can go on. This is very difficult because all the 32 strips (or stroken) need to be aligned. But they want to bend inward. For this I made a tool to keep them evenly apart, while pressing on ring2. I called it “assembly tool ring.stl”. It consist out of 2 peaces that together form a ring. This way it is easier to remove after ring2 is pressed in place. To get a better idea, please see the photo section. After that the Lamp Shade is done and the Light Bulb can be installed. I used a E14 Light Bulb, but you can choose any Lamp Bulb (or light source) you want. The part “cable lock.stl” can be used to hang the Lamp Shade onto the cable. You also need 2 M3x16 Bolts and 2 M3 nuts to assemble the Cable lock. Of course, if you have any questions, feel free to ask :-)
