This package contains two models of my own custom made Tardis variations based upon Tom Baker's retro version and the modernday version, bigger and more complex. They are rigged and textured by I and have lights that can be removed, changed in colour or for simpy be deactivated. The Textures consists of a colour map (switch to black and white setting for height map) and normal map, which with a Principled shader automatically generates accurate, well detailed bumps, reflections and heighlights. For the sake of realsim, seperate light planes are placed behind two layers of frosty windows, resulting in more reaslistic light patters as they fade from side to side. Anyone who wishes to generate other maps such as a roughness map or an ambient occlusion map can do so for free with Materialize; https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gjTceKOBCWE You are free to use this for your commercial films/games so long as you credit me and provide a link to this page. They'll come in OBJ, FBX and default Blender files, the blend file will also be included for the easier option to simply append the models. (Blender 2.8 or above required.) The don't look special in preview photos, but if you check out the older video previews before the models were updated, you will see that they seem far more realistic and high quality in properly lighten CGI sets or video based sets/world lights created by video of real life enviroment. I personally think they look stunning compared to other models you might find online. The models have been rigged with the following. Center 'Empty' to control movement and Z,X,Y rotation. Top 'Empty' is for dramatic spinning from the lantern as a pivot point. (Y rotation) This is so you may make animations similar to The Tardis' movement's in Matt Smith's 2010 Doctor Who intro. Door 'Empties' are to control the doors with Z rotation for opening and closing. The Box itself can be rotated for extra movements as a pivot point is placed at the center. With some tinkering, you can easily change the colour of the police boxes to make them look newer or more retro. You only require a colour ramp or RGB curves to add/remove contrast or to alter the colour.
