The TARDIS from Doctor Who

This is a detailed 3D replica of the TARDIS from Doctor Who BBC series. You will find 3 parts in this THING: The first is the real size stl model I created based on dimensions from the blueprint I used. The other two are the body and upper part of the TARDIS scaled down for the model having a total height of 11cm and the body emptied for less material to be used. After printing, you can use model glue, super glue or other plastic glue to put it together. Be precise. I recommend that you don't scale the two parts down as the walls are pretty thin and you may experience problems while printing, or damage the model while gluing or painting. Print Settings Rafts: Yes Supports: Yes Resolution: 0.19mm (body), 0.09mm (cap) Infill: 30% (body), 60% (cap) Notes: I used ABS material. I think that grey color will be best for painting over it. Post-Printing Painting Use blue spray paint to give the model a nice Tardis-blue look. After a few coats, use model paint to make details such as windows, signs, light, etc. You can also print the signs that the TARDIS originally has and glue them on the model. How I Designed This Blueprints The model was designed based on a blueprint I found online. Some knowledge was needed to understand it but just checking pictures from the series it was pretty easy to follow.
