Thunderfury, Blessed Blade of the Windseeker is the legendary sword once wielded by Thunderaan, Prince of Air. This model is a sword from World of Warcraft. Files contain pieces of the blade ready to be 3D printed. The files also include two versions of the blade, scratched blade, which is separated into smaller parts with a hole for three 8mm steel rods (approx. 100 cm, 85 cm, 88 cm) and complete unscratched blade. We recommend using a metals rods to reinforce the model. SCALE At 100% scale the blade´s dimensions are (very big :-D ) Width approx. 420 mm Length approx. 2200 mm Thickness approx. 104 mm You can scale the model as you like PRINTER SETTINGS As the sword is huge, it is meant to be post-processed. We recommend a layer height of 0.1 to 0.3 mm on FDM printers. All parts are aligned to the printing platform for easy manipulation. Most of the parts need minimal or no use of printing supports to save printing time and filament. For reliable printing, we also recommend setting a brim to some of the parts, because of their height and low thickness. It will ensure that the parts will not come off the printing platform during the printing process. Printing settings will vary greatly depending on your specific printer.
