Learning how to code can be a little boring at times (to say the least). Wanna know what's not boring? Plastic-pellet firing sentry robots! Check out this example of just how not-boring learning how to use web servers, bash scripts, and basic HTML can be. The attached video is just an overview on how to build a home monitoring bot with a simple web interface, but you can do so much more, like enable object tracking or text notifications if the bot senses movement. Keep in mind, you can make this look a little less like a mini Terminator if you don't include the airsoft gun. The only limit is your own creativity!
