It could be used theoretically as part of face shields when combined with PETG transparencies. This design is a print-in-place idea that supports A4 or 11x8.5" PETG transparencies sizes in portrait mode without modifications on them - no hole punchers required for assembly. Just use the snapping slot. If you need extra security, use clear tape to fix in place, but the slot alone provides a secure fixation as per my latest tests. Holes at the back are ready for any cord you find available, or forget about the holes and use a rubber band using the outside edges of the circles, simple but effective fixation. The idea was developed in response to the global shortage of PPEs due to COVID-19 in the healthcare systems. The design uploaded here is NOT certified as PPE nor has been used in the field. Test it on your 3D printer if you like the model and feel free to develop further on top of this simple idea. I am not encouraging the use of these devices in the field since PLA and other 3D printing materials are porous, catch bacterias, and are typically produced in unregulated environments. If you receive this design by someone claiming this is a PPE consult your local authorities first. V1.6 Will fit adult head sizes. (Large size) V1.6.1 Has a narrower fitness. (Medium Size). V1.6.2 Narrowest, still fit most adult heads tested. (Small Size).
