The Vending Machine Project- Creatures of the Forest

In our Multimedia class we were given a challenge to make 3D printed toys that would fit in a vending machine capsule. The purpose of the project was to learn about 3D modeling and 3D printing and share this with our school and beyond. Each student was responsible for creating 5 designs, and learned about how to design models that don’t need support material or adhesion. My design series is called “Creatures of the Forest”. These designs were made with Tinkercad. Some challenges in the design process were making sure the design would be printable without support material. The things I most like about the models is that they are small and easy to print. My models are Arson the Raccoon, Bruce the Cow, Denny the Dragon, Kali the Dog, Evan the Cat, Fred the Fox, Ned the Unicorn, and Leonardo the Lion.
