In mid-2016 I got a request from Jon Sortland (drummer of The Shins, and a Maker himself) to create some props for a music video for The Shins new upcoming album, which was super secret as the band had not released anything new in years. They had seen my mini computers and wanted me to create a "generic 90s PC" for them. Talk about being starstruck! I even got to send the completed machine to their front man's home in Portland. What better way to celebrate your The Shins fandom than to print one of these and have it next to your record player? You can see the computer in action here - https://youtu.be/IzfQCsDTORM?t=2m48s (I also created the mini TV you see in the video, I may post that later). Pretty easy build - print everything, paint light grey, apply stickers.
