Case, mount-plate, buttons and decoration for a thermo-cam based on the sensor AMG8833 and a ESP8266-E12 NodeMCU. It can be build for roundabout 80€.

Instructions, schematics and software are available on GitHub. Sorry for the only german description there. I was too lazy to translate that all.

Print Settings

Printer:

FIashForge Dreamer

Rafts:

No

Supports:

No

Resolution:

0.2 (0.1 for buttons)

Infill:

100%

Notes:

All parts are printable without support. Take care of a good layer adhesion to prevent the stands from breake on screwing.
Set for the first layer of Front and Back only one perimeter shell for a readable text and a better look. Don't smash the first layer to tight to the printplate to keep the gaps of the letters open.

I made the case out of PLA. It has the best properties to make the snap-in-mechanism of the front plate working. Here is a good layer adhesion essential too.

The Deko-Model ist not really necessary for the function but makes the camera looking authentic and protects the thermosensors surface. Fix it with some drops super glue.

Category: Electronics
