Thermomix MC Thermomix had a bad run in making of certain parts, the MC was one of them. We have gone through 2. The plastic is unstable and under stress, it cracks and discolour's. The MC is a cover vent, a measuring cup a cutter and a hand press, so dimensions are important. This is my version as the others on line don't replicate the cookie cutter cutter function thats on the original MC. The open end on the original tapers off from 3mm to 1.4mm to form a cutter. Im using ABS as the print need to cope with heat when cooking. ABS can be smoothed which is very important for easy cleaning in the sink or dish washer. I made a second drawing with larger spigots, this give a larger gap for venting steam. I think the gold version look better that the clear, will have to work on the clear print by adjusting the slicer and maybe trying vase mode and 100% fill. Now off to printing to see how it comes out.
