Thickness Gauge

Thickness Gauge

thingiverse

A simple thickness gauge to help judge how your prints will look and feel in real life. The pieces range from 1-5mm thick, and the ends range from 6-10mm wide. The holes in their centers are the same dimensions as the ends, so you can judge cutouts as well. The pieces are fastened in the case with an m5x20 screw and a hex nut, because that's what I had on hand after building my Prusa printer. They take a bit of loosening at first, but they move smoothly, they hold firm where you put them, and they settle back into the case with a quiet but satisfying click. PrusaSlicer didn't like the case for some reason, so I had to change it to an .obj. I've included that file as well, in case anyone else runs into the same problem.
