Thin Nested Boxes (with Lids)

The OpenSCAD file Thin Nested Box.scad allows you to generate a box and lid to your specifications. I've pre-grenerated sizes 12mm through 40mm which should all nest within each other. The other OpenSCAD file, Thin Nested Boxes.scad will generate a range of boxes and lids for you. This is also a good test of your printer's precision. You can alter the lidSpacing parameter - defaulted to .25mm - to get a tighter or looser fitting lid, and alter the boxSpacing parameter to get the boxes to nest within each other. The default settings seem to work okay for me and give a tight fitting lid. Instructions Generate the boxes you wish to nest, print them (preferably in different colors), and nest them! Shock and WOW your friends with your printer's precision!
