Thing-O-Matic/Mk7 Heatsink Upgrade

Thing-O-Matic/Mk7 Heatsink Upgrade

To resolve ABS printing issues on my Mk7 3D printer, I upgraded the heatsink with a 2mm copper plate. Measuring 6cm x 5cm, it was cut to leave a border of 1cm on all sides. The Mk7 heatsink was centered and bolted onto the copper plate with three m3 bolts, and the stepper shaft hole drilled using a 7mm drill as per heatsink template. Fins were added around the sides and top, and nylon spacers shortened to reassemble the fan assembly, fan->heatsink->copper plate->spacers, before putting it back in the extruder. A sketch was created using OpenScad for future reference.
