i'll add the upcomming things we'll do on this project here i will list the folders in the project in chronological order and tell how much time we had to do it, and what exactly we had to do 1 tiny race car on catia (on our free time during 2 month) : from several physical limitations (space for engine, battery, overall max size, ect...) we had to do a wooden car from a side view and top view drawing we also had to do. there is 2 vers because the first was while learning catia, and the 2nd what we had to give (the full model are the "MY_e-RACECAR_PROJECT" files) 2 valve (3h) : had to reproduce on solidworks the "wheel" and the cap from a technical drawing 3 robot hand (6h) : we had all the pieces except what hold the fingers and "base", so we had to do this piece from the dimmensions of the other, then assemble all of it and do an animation of it operating 4 fixed support of 'pieces holder' (idk how it is called in english) (3h) : we had to do the top piece of this http://goo.gl/uigcPL but without having pics of it, just knowing that the 2 "holding plates" should match and make the metal bar fit, and have it as light as possible but still strong enough in plastic. and then do a static simulation 5 duct tape dispenser (9h) : we had to do something that can hold the tape ring when it is full and empty + that can cut it in some ways + to have a design in "characters" "animals" or "transportation" themes. first with modeling clay then on solidworks, and if the dispenser is good enough it might get 3D printed here is the technical drawing : http://goo.gl/bqTX9G 6 flange (3h) : we had to make a part that would close an electric motor, let pass the axis through with it's bearing, make it fit with the rest of the enclosure with 4 screw holes, and avoid touching the coil that come out a little big 7 pulley (3h) : we had to do a pulley from a shaft and a belt position and size + make the link between the pulley and shaft with an area as large as possible to transmit the rotation by friction 8 compass (on our free time during 1 month) : we had to model a real object that had at least 5 different pieces and 3 moving parts, i chose my compass that have 13 different pieces and 4 moving parts 9 cylinder (on our free time during 1 month) : this is in fact the same thing as the compass, but because it was also recommended to use a standard piece for the assembly i made this, with a standard circlips to hold the axis into the piston. and i also wanted to try to make it move with solidworks animations so i added an enclosure around it, here is the animation : http://youtu.be/jT23EPVXtKA 10 paper punch (3h) : we had to do the middle part of a paper punch using metal sheet (thickness and which metal was free to choose as long as it could make the object work as expected) this sheet had to hold the base, the handle axis, drive the puncher with it's spring and the paper sheet under it, while being as cheap as possible (here with 155g of aluminum it would cost ~0,24€ of matter) 11 flange (3h) : this was the semester test, so i don't have the files i did but tryed to redo something quickly (and without all the informations :/) we had to do a part to hold 2 bearings and an axis with a box + 4 screw holes to attach it to the box and 2 other on the ground
