6th to 10th month in GMP here i will list the folders in the project in chronological order and tell how much time we had to do it, and what exactly we had to do 1 skate wheel (3h) : from a shaft and wheel we had to guide in rotation the wheel using standard parts and ball bearings that we had to choose from the forces they would have to withstand (thought in this case, any bearing that fit the shaft is way more than enough) the lenghts in the drawing are all from bearings specifications (thickness, outer and inner diameter as well as maximum width for holding them in place) 13 is the minimum shaft diameter 40 the lenght we were able to modify and 30 the wheel width 2 polishing machine (6h + free time during a month) : from a shaft and casing we had to guide in rotation the shaft using standard parts and imposed ball bearings + lubricating and protecting the bearings as they appeared to last a lot less time than they should (60 years for the most strained bearing) we could only change the diameter of the shaft on the middle and drill holes in the casing. on the cut view, the orange parts are grease nozzles and the partialy blue parts at left and right of the bearings against the shaft are 2 lips seals to prevent the grease from leaking as well as protecting the bearings from the exterior (metal dust from the polishing)
